Returnly Integration with NetSuite

Nova Module’s Returnly-NetSuite Integration App (Connector) is built on a modern iPaaS platform (integrator.io) provided by Celigo.

Functionality – Data Flows

  • RMA Import – Direction: from Returnly to NetSuite.

Integration App imports Returnly RMAs in Authorized status to NetSuite and creates a corresponding RMA record in NetSuite in Pending Receipt status.

  • Returnly Refund – RMA Item Receipt Export – Direction: from NetSuite to Returnly.

As RMA Item Receipt records against corresponding RMAs are created in NetSuite the Integration App uses them to trigger Returnly to issue refunds for respective RMAs.
Note: This data flow, like other data flows, can be turned or kept off if an online merchant automatically issues refunds to its customers (e.g. if merchants have 100% guarantee policy).

  • Refund Import – Direction: from Returnly to NetSuite.

When Returnly processes refunds, the Integration App imports refund data to NetSuite and creates either a Cash Refund or a Credit Memo against the original Cash Sale or an Invoice respectively.

Never Miss Data

  • Data that is getting imported / exported from one system to another is stored on the platform until it is successfully delivered to a corresponding system.
  • There are several core data flows that are available - RMA Import, RMA Receipt Export, and Refund Import. One example of data that can be re-tried is in the RMA Import to NetSuite from Returnly data flow. E.g. the Integration App is working to create a new RMA record in NetSuite but the original Cash Sale or an Invoice record is not available in NetSuite. The Integration App will throw an error suggesting the issue. This error will be kept in the connector and on the platform so it can be re-tried after an underlying issue is fixed. So your record data is parked on the platform until it is successfully exported/imported. Errors can be re-tried with a single click of a button. Again, this is just one data flow out of several core data flows available in the Integration App.

Easy Post-GoLive Maintenance

  • Map data fields between NetSuite and Returnly through an intuitive user interface. For data that is exported from NetSuite use an already pre-built saved search(es) which makes it easy to add specific logic that allows for an even greater flexibility in identifying what records to use.
  • Complex business rules like hard coding some of the fields, performing lookup operations can also be setup right inside the mapping interface.
