Why you need SmartMaterials

Mobile transactions frequently fail due to missing components, whether physically not present in the staging bin or virtually unaccounted.  Customers with or without WMS solutions are affected and efficiency suffers.

The SmartMaterials Native SuiteApp helps you ensure manufacturing readiness at the point of execution…the Work Center required to do the work.  It analyzes missing components, generates an aggregated Work Center Picklist, and also directs Putaways for excess components to improve inventory detail accuracy

Staged Materials Verification

Users can verify that all WO BOM Components are properly staged at the required Work Center for the planning / look ahead horizon analyzed

Picklist Generation

Resolve staging shortages by creating an aggregated Work Center picklist to support all components needed to support the selected Work Center.  FEFO Rules are followed if Lot Controlled components.

Putaway List Generation

Return the unused items to Stock efficiently by creating an aggregated putaway list by Work Center to ensure all components are properly returned to storage for inventory accuracy

Mass Bin Transfer Feature

To reduce the burden on warehouse resource transacting every pick, initiate a Mass Bin Transfer to efficiently transact the Staging or Putaway tasks.  Also, it allows the User to “catch up” on transactions for items already physically staged so Work Order Completions are successful

Picklists can be customized

Structure the Picklist to your needs, with or without barcodes to make the Picklists as user frlendly as possible
