With OpenBOM you can automatically generate 2D/3D PDF’s of your Solidworks CAD files (even drawings) and store them in your preferred cloud storage (Dropbox, GDrive, BOX, A360, and more) to be easily shared with the extended team. BOMs and Catalogs support simultaneous multi user editing a-la Google Docs and have a rich set of share controls. OpenBOM is visual and includes images for all parts and assemblies. OpenBOM can calculate and rollup values through multiple levels for cost, weight, or most any property. OpenBOM keeps track of all changes in a change history log which can be used to compare revisions and versions.
